In February 2008, ABC Family announced the series cancellation after just four seasons. At first, many fans believed this to be a rumor and impossible. We never thought ABC Family would cancel the series that redefined their network and touched the hearts of millions of people.

We, the fans of Wildfire, are disappointed that ABC Family has decided not to continue with the show. After much consideration, we have teamed up to make others aware of just how incredible this series is and that it is too early to retire it. Both Wildfires' producers and fans would like to see the show continue. We have come together to raise awareness that we can work to save this series. We need everyone's help to spread the word like Wildfire.

This show means many things to millions of people. On the surface, it's a series about a troubled girl trying to rebuild her life after making mistakes. For many of us who feel lost or misunderstood by others, this series sends a message of hope. We need to keep that flame ignited in our hearts. Sometimes, you can find a connection with someone, which you did not expect. In this case, it's a horse named Wildfire. Wildfire reminds us that family isn't always something you're born into, but it is something you can create with people who come into your life. That's a big discovery, lead character Kris Furillo made during her stay at Raintree Farms.

As Matt Ritter stated in the episode titled 'Life's Too Short,' "This has been a year of rebuilding for us." There is a resurgence occurring at Raintree stables, and there are many horse races that have yet to be won. It is time to take a stand and fight to see the characters you love, continue their journeys. By uniting as one, fans of Wildfire have formed SaveWildfire.com. Please join our Save Wildfire Campaign to keep Wildfire running for years to come. Wildfire's victory lap is yet to be written. Together we can ensure he gets his chance.

After petitions, letters, emails, faxes, phone calls, apples, stuffed horses, 450 pounds of boxed hay, 500 cast iron horseshoes, 600 feet of rope, 1,000 pounds of carrots and 1,500 Wildfire postcards all to ABC Family what else can the fans possibly do to save Wildfire?  Insider sources say that despite the tremendous out cry from the fans, ABC Family has no intention of even reconsidering renewing Wildfire.  We originally focused our efforts on ABC Family, but now The CW better get ready because here come the Wildfire fans. The crew has already been in contact with The CW so let’s show our support.  The CW is owned by CBS and Warner Bros TV.
